Guinea’s President Condemns Terror Attack in Cote d’Ivoire

Guinean President Alpha Conde on Monday sent a message to his Cote d’Ivoire counterpart Alassane Ouattara, in which he strongly condemned Sunday’s terror attack at the seaside resort of Grand Bassam, an official source has said.

In his message, Conde termed the attacks as "vile and senseless" without justification in any religion.

On behalf of his country, the president sent condolence messages to the affected families and to the people of Cote d’Ivoire.

Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb claimed responsibility for the attack which left at least 18 people dead.
