Around 4 Army Burundian Officials have been killed since the arrest of Rwanda’s “so called spy.” But who’s responsible?

In Burundi, since the arrest of the officer Cyprien Rucyahintare, a Rwandan spy, Monday, March 7, 2016 in Muyinga, there is a resurgence of targeted killing on Burundian soil.

A man reportedly identified as Rwandan Corporal Cyprien was arrested in recent days by Burundian security forces suspected to be spying on them.

Here is the chronology of some macabre targeted killings; the perpetrators have not been identified:

March 22, 2016 - The camp commander "Combat Engineer", Lieutenant Colonel Darius IKURAKURE was murdered in Bujumbura;

March 22, 2016 - Major Didier Muhimpundu killed before the Hibiscus Bar in Bujumbura;

March 15, 2016 - Mr. Adrien Mudomo, former head Mubira Hill in Mugamba commune in Bururi was killed;

March 15, 2016 - Mr. Denis Ndikuriyo, one of the 5 leaders elected on the hill Mbizi hill Kibago Hill in Makamba, 50 years old was murdered batons.

In Burundi, for the National Intelligence Service, there’s no doubt that this is the same network of August 2015 had ordered the assassination of the Fire General and Colonel Adolphe Nshimirimana Bikomagu. The modus operandi is the same.

These targeted assassinations, signing what hidden gems Rwandan services, clearly demonstrate that there is an attempt of the latter to prepare an offensive on Burundi.
