The report which has been undergoing counter intelligence by the Counter terrorism Directorate has since been approved. The terror alerts comes barely 10 days to the swearing in ceremony of the president Elect-Yoweri Kaguta Museveni slated for May 12 where a big number of invited heads of state and other invited dignitaries are expected to grace the occasion.

The Somali based terror group in 2010 carried out twin bombings in Kampala at Kyadondo rugby grounds and Ethiopian village in Kabalagala Makindye division where over 76 football fans lost their lives in the attacks.

The terror group are fighting against Uganda’s contribution towards African peace keeping mission in Somalia where the Uganda people’s defence forces deployed over 20,000/- force largely in Somali’s capita Mogadishu.
