LeTourneau Studennts from Rwanda Send a Message to Fellow Students

LeTourneau University attracts students from all over the world, including Rwanda. Several of them took the opportunity to speak into chapel Monday morning.

They also put on a short drama performance to show people how important it is to always be aware of what is happening in the world.

Their message is that everyone should do something to help others in any way they can.

“We’ve come a long way, and we still have a long way to go, but we’re not giving up. The story of Rwanda is an encouragement and an inspiration to me.

It makes me feel if you can overcome that kind of darkness, then what can’t you overcome?” student Charity Mutesi said.

Every April the people of Rwanda commemorate the genocide of 1994, and they want everyone to remember so it never happens again.
