ANTONIO CONTE TO SELL £33 MILLION FLOP IN SUMMER

Chelsea is willing to sell Belgian Michy Batshuayi after just one season at the club, having failed to impress manager Antonio Conte, according to reports.

The 23-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge from Marseille in the summer on a five-year contract, for a fee believed to be £33 million (about $41 million).

Batshuayi has scored five goals in 21 appearances for Chelsea, with three of those strikes coming in his first three games for the club. Since then, he has only scored twice in 18 appearances.

Batshuayi is most often used as a substitute by Conte, who has led Chelsea to a 10-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Italian has not been impressed by the striker and is poised to sell him at the end of the season. West Ham is believed to be a possible destination for Batshuayi.

Conte hopes to hold onto Chelsea’s prolific striker Diego Costa, however, who is believed to be a target of Tianjin Quanjian.

Chelsea travels to West Ham on Monday for the last Premier League game of the weekend.
