Over 10 million men have undergone safe male circumcision surgery, WHO reports.

The World Health Organisation report says the number captured men and boys circumcised in the drive during the last five years.

WHO says the move is contributing towards a HIV free generation since circumcision reduces the risk of female to male HIV transmission by 60%.

Every day about 5,500 people get infected with HIV globally, according to World Health Organization.

However, the 66% of the new infections take place in sub Saharan Africa.

Therefore, WHO calls upon everybody who have not yet visited qualified doctors for circumcision, that they should do it with immediate effect since its one way of saving our lives from acquiring HIV/AIDS.
